Welcome to Barnard! To ensure that your financial aid is available to you when you arrive, there are a few things that you need to do.

Grant Recipients

All students who have received a Barnard Grant award must complete:

  • Grant/Job/Loan Agreement Form (via eBear)
  • Restricted Scholarship Questionnaire (via eBear)

If you received a Stafford loan in addition to grant aid you must also complete:

If you received a Barnard or Perkins Loan in addtition to your grant aid you must also complete:

  • Master Promissory Note (will be mailed to you by Financial Aid)
  • Entrance Interview (at Orientation)

Stafford Loan Borrowers

Any student who did not receive Barnard grant aid but would still like to borrow a Stafford loan must complete:

  • Stafford Loan Request Form (via eBear)
  • Master Promissory Note with lender of choice
  • An Entrance Interview (at Orientation)

Parent Loan (PLUS) Borrowers

Parent Loans (PLUS) are available to help parents finance any part of the educational cost at Barnard not covered by grant aid. To apply, a parent must complete:
