Khia joined the Barnard Anthropology department in May of 2008. She is a born and raised New Yorker.  Khia has recently received an honorable discharge from the Army National Guard after a completed 6 year term. She has an Associates degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing her BA in Economics and Forensic Accounting.
