There have been a few cases where users have received two Columbia UNIs.   Here is the solution:
If you have this problem, send an email to consultant@columbia.edu and cc: courseworks@barnard.edu.
Use this format for your explanation of the problem.  

Dear CUIT,

Please merge the two UNIs that have been assigned to me, Sheila Smith.  
I am a professor <or student, or staff member> at Barnard College.

I want to keep this UNI, ss89435.

I do not want the second UNI, ss98765

Please let me know if you need additional information.

You should receive a reply from the CUIT Client Service Center with a reference number that allows you to check the status of your request.   If the issue is not resolved within a week, please write to the Barnard Help Desk ( help@barnard.edu ) with details.
