1. In the Connect to box, type either

bc.barnard.edu (Faculty and Staff)

or

eclipse.barnard.edu (Students)

2. Type your username in the box next to Username and click Connect.

In this example this student's username is tra02.

3. In the next window you will be prompted to give you password, type it in and click Authenticate.

4. After you have typed in your password, the file transfer window opens showing your Barnard account on the server (bc or eclipse) on the right panel and your local computer on the left panel, this student is logged in as the administrator on her computer.

5. On the left hand panel, navigate to the files you would like to transfer to the server in this case the user's files are on the Desktop. If you are publishing to your webpage you would navigate to the public_html folder in your account on the server side (right hand panel). To transfer the files from one location to another, simply select the files and drag them to the appropriate panel.
