Setting up Mail for Macintosh to use SSL on the new server

This presumes that you already had Mail set up to check email on your computer and you only need to change the settings for the new email system.
Start Mail
1. Click on Mail from the main menu and then select Preferences, this opens the Accounts window.

2. In the Accounts window, click on Accounts then Account Information. Fill in the boxes as shown below, replacing "user" with your own username everywhere it appears.

3. Next click on the Advanced button.
In this window make sure that IMAP Path Prefix box is blank; delete any content, and directly below that, check the box next to Use SSL.

4. Close this window (red button at top left). You will be prompted to save your new settings, Save them.
