African Ancestral Lesbians United for Societal Change (AALUSC) is committed to the spiritual, cultural, educational, economic and social empowerment of African Ancestral womyn. We are dedicated to making our voices heard in advocacy for womyn’s rights through a redefined philosophy and holistic objectives that use workshops with open discussions to empower and achieve the following: to awaken the spiritual power of African Ancestral womyn; to provide educational tools for the development of progressive thinking; to empower African Ancestral womyn to become advocates for economic, educational, health and political change; to provide resources and referrals for various needs; and to provide opportunities for social and cultural interaction with all womyn consisting of dances, theater, cultural events, poetry readings, conferences, festivals, music, plays and more.
