For international or domestic travel: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) service international and domestic flights to the New York City Metropolitan area.

Public transportation is easily accessible throughout New York City. You can access subway maps, bus maps, and other transit information (including info on AirTran from JFK) from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority website: www.mta.info . Taxi flat fare from JFK to any stop in Manhattan is $45. You can look up and print easy subway, bus and walking directions on www.hopstop.com which is a service similar to Mapquest or Google Maps but for public transporation and walking directions. Barnard College is located at 3009 Broadway in Manhattan.

Accommodations
The 2007 CORD conference will take place at one of the peaks of the NYC tourist season. For that reason, the Local Arrangements Committee strongly encourages participants to make lodging arrangements well in advance of the conference as it will soon become exceedingly difficult to find accommodations.
