RETURNING STUDENT The financial aid application process for returning students has changed for 2008-2009 and the deadline was April 18, 2008. All paper documentation must be sent to the College Board’s Institutional Document Service (IDOC), PO Box 4017, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864, rather than to financial aid directly. Refer to the IDOC Frequently Asked Questions section to assist you with the new procedures. Notification of financial aid awards for returning students who have submitted all required documents will be mailed the first week of July.   Required 2008-2009 Application Forms for Returning Students Deadline Submit form to: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) - Barnard's FAFSA Code Number is 002708 April 18, 2008 Complete online application College Scholarship Service (CSS) Financial Aid Profile Form April 18, 2008 Complete online application Parents' 2007 Federal Income Tax Return (all pages and schedules) and W-2 forms April 18, 2008 IDOC Student's 2007 Federal Income Tax Return and W-2 Forms OR 2007 Student Non-Filer Certification Form along with proof of 2007 income (W-2 forms, 1099 forms, or other documentation) April 18, 2008 IDOC Documentation of Income for Parents not filing 2007 Federal Income Tax Returns April 18, 2008 IDOC Verification Worksheet April 18, 2008 IDOC When applicable, returning students must submit the following: 2008-2009 CSS Business and Farm Supplement along with Business Federal Tax Returns April 18, 2008 IDOC 2008-2009 CSS Noncustodial Parent's Statement (paper) or 2008-2009 CSS Noncustodial Profile (online) and 2007 Federal Income Tax Return (all pages and schedules) and 2007 W-2 forms. April 18, 2008 IDOC 2008-2009 Public Assistance Information Form April 18, 2008 IDOC Documentation of Social Security Benefits 2007 (Social Security Administration Form 1099-SSA) for all family members April 18, 2008 IDOC New York State Express TAP application for NYS Residents only (http://www.hesc.com) Immediately after submitting FAFSA New York State Higher Education Services Corporation Parents' 2007 New York State Tax Return for NYS Residents only - include in IDOC submission even though IDOC cover sheet states "do not send state tax returns" and fill in ovals next to "Other U.S. tax forms" April 18, 2008 IDOC Cash Flow Worksheet (when requested)   Financial Aid Sibling College Enrollment Verification Form (when requested) September 26, 2008 Financial Aid International Students Only: College Board International Student Financial Aid Application and 2007 foreign income documentation (translated into U.S. dollars). (If your parents file a U.S. federal income tax return, please complete The College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile Form instead of the College Board International Student Financial Aid Application and submit your parents' 2007 Federal Income Tax Returns and W-2 forms.)
