MORNINGSIDE DENTAL ASSOCIATES (MDA)
A program of the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.

What type of program is offered?
Fee-for-service care provided in a private practice setting.

What training have the providers received?
Care is provided by dentists pursuing post-graduate fellowship training under the supervision of faculty members of the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.

What services are available?
Routine examinations
X-rays as needed, and with routine exams
Dental cleaning (prophylaxis)
Orthodontics
Evaluation of emergency dental conditions, including relief of pain (by appointment during regular MDA office hours)
Restoration (fillings, composites, crowns)
Endodontics
Periodontics
Oral surgery

By appointment only, Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm.
For emergencies Mon–Fri, patients should call to make an appointment for the same day. On weekends, patients with a dental emergency should go to the nearest emergency room.

STU-DENT PLAN
A program offered by the New York University college of Dentistry.

What type of program is offered?
An annual membership plan that entitles the enrollee to receive a specified set of services without additional cost during the term of the plan and to obtain additional services at specially discounted rates. Services are provided in a teaching clinic. 

What training have the providers received?
Treatment is provided by graduating dental and dental hygiene students, who are supervised by licensed New York University College of Dentistry faculty members. Some services may take longer than they would in a private dental office, but may be balanced by lower costs of service.

What is the enrollment process for the Stu-Dent Plan?
Barnard students who wish to enroll in the Stu-Dent plan must complete an enrollment form, available online, or call the Stu-Dent Membership office at 212-998-9870.

Hours
