CLIO for Finding Books:

CLIO: the Online Catalog for Finding Books:CLIO 
(Columbia Libraries Information Online) is the online catalog for materials added to the Columbia University Libraries since 1981. You  can connect to CLIO from the Barnard Library Home Page or from Columbia University LibraryWeb. CLIO can be searched by author, title, subject and keyword. Some sample searches:

    *use last name first

title: journal for the scientific study of reli
     *type in as much of the title that you know
     
*journals are listed in CLIO along with books,
       videos and other materials
     *electronic/full text journals are listed in CLIO and
       the URL is included

To find books about a particular topic choose the subject search option and use the Library of Congress Subject Headings. You may also use the keyword option or advanced keyword option to find books on a particular topic. Use distinctive or “keywords” in the search.
