Online) is the online catalog for materials added to the Columbia University
Libraries since 1981. You can connect to CLIO from the Barnard Library
Home Page or from Columbia University LibraryWeb. CLIO can be searched by
author, title, subject and keyword. Some sample searches:

To find books about a particular topic choose the subject search option and use the Library of Congress Subject Headings. You may also use the keyword option or advanced keyword option to find books on a particular topic. Use distinctive or “keywords” in the search.
