Searching CLIO
CLIO
(Columbia Libraries Information Online) is the on-line catalog for over 90%
of the materials (print, electronic, audio, video, etc.) in the Columbia University Libraries.
- For keyword searches, AND is
automatically inserted between term. You may also use OR or NOT between
the terms, or quotes for a phrase.
- For an author search, put last name,
then first name
- You can retrieve materials in English
only using the Pre-set Limits or Post Limits options

Full Text -- brings full text (starting 1995) plus abstracts and
bibliographic indexes (starting 1984) of noted scholarly sources in the
humanities, as well as lesser known specialized magazines.
