C-Span 2's Book TV will air the Barnard-New York Times forum (taped on campus March 31) this Saturday, April 17 at 5:30 P.M.  The program features Barnard President Judith Shapiro, who was the moderator for this discussion among a panel of noted authors and journalists in celebration of Women's History Month.  The forum, "American Women and Their Progress: What We've Learned So Far," included New York Times Editorial Page Editor Gail Collins; historian Carol Berkin B'64; ABC News correspondent Lynn Sherr and author Naomi Wolf.  The discussion drew more than 500 people to campus.
