Good Love? Taking Action in Relationships
Empowering students, faculty, and staff through dialogue, education, and action.

Members of the University community are invited to participate in a series of dialogues led by co-gender, multi-racial teams of students and staff, in which participants will have the unique opportunity to explore what is possible when we work together to develop a model for ending violence and other forms of oppression.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore opening new channels of communication, both across boundaries within the community and within interpersonal relationships. We each bring both positive and negative experiences of interacting with the world around us into our familial, friendship, romantic, and professional relationships. We seek to encourage participants to identify effective communication strategies and develop healthy relationships, in order to consciously break the cycle of oppression and violence.

Collectively we can create a compelling vision of relationships free of violence and characterized by equality and respect.

Calendar of Events

Good Love: From Talk to Action will offer participants comfortable learning spaces in which to explore, listen, and build skills. All events are open to any member of the University community, whether new to thinking about these issues, or seasoned activists. Most events are for both men and women; a few are designed to facilitate discussion in a single-sex environment, and are delineated as such.
