On April 26, Barnard celebrated Take Our Daughters To Work Day. On that day, Barnard employees brought their daughters, granddaughters, nieces and young female friends to visit them on the job. In addition to spending time learning about their hosts' jobs, the girls enjoyed College sponsored events such as a guided tour of the greenhouse, a hands-on lighting demonstration in the theater, a tour and hands-on experience in the Barnard Store, and workshops sponsored by Well-Woman and The Center For Research On Women.

Take Our Daughters To Work Day is sponsored by the MS Foundation For Women in an effort to expand the careers and interests to which young women are exposed.

For more information about this day at Barnard, please feel free to contact either Lori McFarland at 854-2660 or Geri Perret at 854-7748.
