CENTER FOR RESEARCH ON WOMEN DIRECTOR, JANET JAKOBSEN, ON CHICAGO PUBLIC RADIO DISCUSSING TOLERANCE JULY 22, 2002

New York, NY June 22, 2002 — Janet Jakobsen, director of the Center for Research on Women, will be on Chicago Public Radio's show "Odyssey" with host Gretchen Helfrich Monday July 22. She will participate in a panel discussion on the topic of "tolerance" with David Strauss from the University of Chicago Law School. After expressing interest in what Jakobsen had to say on the topic of tolerance in "Love and Sin: Sexual Regulation and the Limits of Religious Tolerance," "Odyssey" asked Jakobsen to join the panel discussion. She will be participating in the discussion from Radio Arts Studio located in the Upper West Side.
