the 50 photo exhibits which celebrate the 50th Anniversary
of Aperture, the world's
leading publisher of photography. The exhibit is located
in Java City, Upper Level McIntosh, and will run from October

Aperture's
50 exhibits, titled "Photography Past/Forward: Aperture
at 50," are scattered throughout New York City at many

wrote: "The resulting exhibition is a treasure hunt.
The goal is to see all 170 photos. You pick up a map at
Aperture, at 20 East 23rd Street, or the first site you
happen to hit, and then start hunting."
Other
locations where the photography can be seen include The
Central Park Arsenal, New Leaf Café in Fort Tryon
Park, Rockefeller Center, the International Center of Photography,
the Guggenheim, and the School for Visual Arts. Some of
the famous photography includes pieces from Eudora Welty
(at Barnard), Jerome Liebling, Robert Mapplethorpe, and
Sebastiao Salgado.
