New Design for Barnard Homepage

Barnard is pleased to announce the launch of our redesigned homepage. The redesign, conceived by the Office of Public Affairs and created by Web Editor Elissa Matsueda, represents a movement towards a cleaner, crisper look to better reflect the College’s needs. The site’s full redesign will happen in stages, and the main sections of the site will be redesigned to coordinate in the coming months.

We are adding new features, including a spotlight on faculty, in addition to our regular reports on alumnae, interns and current students. The homepage will continue to highlight news and events from the Barnard community, both on and off campus.

Also look in the coming weeks for the addition of video, both taped events and interviews.

The new homepage is designed to help all visitors navigate more easily with clearly-labeled channels for prospective students, parents, alumnae, visitors, and eBear, the portal for faculty, students and staff. In addition to those channels, all of the main navigation links remain on the right side of the page, with the search function also now right on the homepage.
