Barnard Career Development is offering a career exploration and professional development program for sophomores. This selective program, limited to 25 sophomores, is called SASSI, an acronym for Smart, Assertive, Skilled, Successful, Innovative. This program will help students explore interests and gain professional skills for ALL majors and career sectors.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Kick-off supper/workshop
  • Networking receptions with alumnae
  • Career-related conferences or events reimbursed by SASSI and the Barnard Leadership Initiative

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Public speaking & presentation skills workshop
  • Personalized assessment inventories & counseling*
  • Time/stress management techniques

*ASSESSMENT SURVEYS:
Participants will take the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI) and meet individually with a career counselor to review the results.
