Faculty Friends is a faculty/student network designed to provide support for Barnard students with disabilities and increase awareness of the issue of disability on campus.

At the beginning of the fall semester, the Dear Colleague letter is sent to all Barnard faculty members in the first Faculty Newsletter mailing.  Additional information regarding test accommodations for students with disabilities can be found in the Office of the Provost's Faculty Handbook. (Information about administering coursework for disabled students found in Section III/B/2.)

• Disability Access Recognition Awards (DARA)  Information and Nomination Form
  With nominations from students with disabilities, the DARA's are given to faculty and staff who have offered creative support for and response to disability issues and concerns.
